Install Jedox Add-In with download binaries (Quicker way to install)

A quick way to install the jedox add-in to people’s computers is to download the binaries onto the network, then install the add-in by referencing the downloaded binary file. This allows the add-in to install much quicker without needing to repeatedly download the binaries.

There are two components to the excel add-in, the Installer and the binaries.  They can be downloaded from the following addresses:

Installer - https://jdxdownload.azureedge.net/release/setup/24.1/JedoxExcelSetup_2024_1.zip

Binaries - https://jdxdownload.azureedge.net/release/packages/24.1/JedoxExcelAddin_24_1.zip

Above files are for version 2024.1, for other versions replace the 24.1 to the required version. The files can also be found on my jedox:

Download both files. Extract JedoxExcelSetup_24.1.exe from the JedoxExcelSetup_2024_1.zip file.

Open command prompt and navigate to the file location. Use the command  /sourceexceladdin C:\TempWorking\Addin\JedoxExcelAddin_24_1.zip

 Click yes on the prompt to allow the program to make changes and click next on the installation wizard. Click Install, then sit back and relax as the add-in is installed.

If the add-in isn't showing on the excel ribbon, check the add-ins in the options menu. If it's not there, add it as a COM add-in. Then check jedox is ticked to show on the ribbon.
